Before Your First Visit

Do I need a partner?
No. Line dancing is danced individually as part of the group, so there is no need to bring a partner. Just come along and enjoy the music and dancing.
What should I wear?
Wear loose fitting comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes with minimal grip.
Where are classes held?
Starlight Line Dancers are based at the Starlight Lounge located at Unit 9, 16-28 Research Road, Pooraka, South Australia.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Expect a warm welcome, friendly people, great music and plenty of encouragement. There is no need to know any line dances before your first class.
Can I bring my own drinks?
The Starlight Lounge is a licensed venue, so outside drinks and BYO water bottles are not permitted.
Is drinking water available?
Yes. Complimentary SA water is available at the cafe counter, and chilled bottled water is also available for purchase.
Are refreshments available?
Refreshments are available at the Starlight Lounge. As a licensed venue, its normal venue policies apply.
